Building a website on your laptop is a great start, but sharing it with the rest of the world is where the real fun begins!Welcome back to the sandbox. The AWS Student Builder Group at LNCT is back for our second workshop: "From Code to Cloud: A Student's Guide to Production Deployments."
Don't worry if you are brand new to this. In this beginner-friendly session, we will take a simple website and put it live on the internet together, step by step. You will learn how online hosting works, how to make your site load fast for anyone, anywhere, and how to launch your projects like a pro.
What we will be breaking down during the session:
- Fundamentals of Static Web Hosting: Understanding how web pages are stored on the web and why moving beyond your local computer matters.
- Publishing Web Apps Globally: Setting up online storage to hold your website files and make them accessible to everyone on the internet.
- Speeding Up Cloud Content: Learning how to deliver website content lightning-fast to users anywhere.
- Live Deployment Skills: Walking step-by-step through a real-time site launch.
The Vision
Building projects on your own screen is just the first step. Getting them live so you can share them with friends, recruiters, and the world is how you truly level up. We are creating a welcoming community where students can learn together, gain confidence with web basics, and start launching real projects right from day one.
Join us as we take our very first steps into live web deployment!Event Details:
