We are excited to announce the official launch of the AWS Cloud Club at REVA University, marking the beginning of a new student-led community focused on cloud computing, innovation, and modern technology.
AWS Cloud Clubs are global student communities supported by Amazon Web Services, created to help students explore cloud technologies, build real-world projects, and connect with industry experts. Through this initiative, we aim to build a strong ecosystem at REVA where students can learn, collaborate, and innovate using AWS and modern development tools.
To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting the AWS Cloud Club REVA University Inauguration & Investiture Ceremony, where we will introduce the vision of the club and the founding leadership team.
## Keynote Speaker
We are honored to welcome Smiti Guru, Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker for the AWS Cloud Club REVA University Inauguration.
With 15+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, and enterprise technology, Smriti has worked with leading organizations including AWS, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy Services, and Mahindra Satyam, helping businesses design scalable and modern cloud solutions.
At AWS, she works closely with organizations to design cloud architectures, guide strategic technology adoption, and enable modern data and analytics platforms.
She also holds multiple prestigious AWS Certifications, including:
• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Alongside her industry experience, she has pursued executive programs at Indian School of Business (ISB) and IIM Calcutta, strengthening her expertise in technology and business strategy.
In this keynote-style session, she will share industry insights, real-world cloud architecture experiences, and guidance for students looking to build careers in cloud computing, AI, and modern technology ecosystems.
