Amazon Bedrock Workshop

We are pleased to announce a new hands-on workshop for developers to learn how to leverage foundation models through the Amazon Bedrock – the newest addition to AWS service list. Join us on October 24th at 7PM at IT Park Makhtumkuli to get a hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, where we build a chatbot and image generator together with Igor Sharfmesser, Senior Solutions Architect at AWS.

• No AWS account is needed – you will be provided one during the workshop
• You need to bring your laptop to the workshop

About Amazon Bedrock
Amazon Bedrock provides API access to pre-trained models from Amazon and third parties for applications like text generation, summarization, question answering, chatbots, and image creation.

Workshop Details
This workshop is presented as a series of Jupyter notebooks that connect to Amazon Bedrock APIs and SDKs. Participants will explore common usage patterns for Generative AI applications to improve productivity. The labs will cover building chatbots, and image generation. Igor Shafmesser will be guiding you on how to set up Amazon Bedrock, make API calls to models from Anthropic, Amazon, and Stability AI, and implement applications using frameworks like LangChain and FAISS.

No prior experience with Amazon Bedrock is required. The workshop is aimed at helping participants leverage foundation models through hands-on experience implementing common AI use cases.
