Agents & Dragons: Once Upon Agentic AI

AWS User Group Timisoara is organizing its next meetup with a hands-on workshop.

Build your own AI Game Master, an agent that runs a role-playing adventure. You will use Strands Agents, the open source SDK from AWS for building AI agents.

No AWS account set-up. No credit card. Every attendee gets a free sandbox environment. Just sign in and start building.

What you will do:
- Create and configure your first agent
- Give it tools: ready-made ones and your own
- Connect it to outside services with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Make several agents work together as a party
- Rebuild the same system in a few lines with the Strands harness
- Take your agents towards production on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

What you will take away:
- A clear picture of how agents, tools, MCP and multi-agent systems fit together
- A working multi-agent app you can reuse as a template
- Practical skills for building production-ready agent systems
