Hi, I'm Nicole Weatherburne and I'm killing it as a Software Engineer.

I am a proud graduate of UB's Information Technology program class of 2011. Soon after graduating, I landed an opportunity as a Database Administrator with UB's Environmental Research Institute where I kept the IT ship afloat for 4 years.

I then made a big decision to step outside of my comfort zone and moved to Taiwan to pursue further studies and take on new life and career challenges.

I currently work remotely as a Backend Engineer with DeepHow, a startup company using artificial intelligence to try to solve the skills gap problem. I am open to consulting opportunities and hope to one day manage my own consulting firm.

Outside of work, I blog from time to time about my engineering journey and how I draw inspiration from those around me to keep innovating and solving problems.
