#1: Building an AI Chat using an MCP Server with Bedrock and AWS ECS
Speaker: Martin Mueller
Abstract: In this talk, Martin will describe how they have designed, developed, and used their property listings Model Context Protocol (MCP) to provide a seamless AI Chat interface to find and create property listings. Attendees will learn about the architecture, design decisions, and practical implementation details for scaling AI applications in the cloud.
#2: Exploring GenAI Observability with Grafana
Speaker: David Pereira
Abstract: Nowadays, OpenTelemetry is used extensively to collect telemetry data from applications and serves as an industry standard. But we need a way to visualize this data clearly — and that is where Grafana comes in.
In this session, David will go through the core concepts of observability and demonstrate how conventions and standards can be defined to enable GenAI systems. Topics covered include logs, metrics, traces, manual instrumentation, tracking token usage, latency, and other OpenTelemetry signals to help troubleshoot errors in production. By the end of this session, attendees will know how to effectively use Grafana alongside AI agents.🔥 Bonus: This meetup serves as a warm-up for AWS UG Community Days on September 27th — get inspired and ready for the big event!
