Below you will find brief description of each theme.

The Role of Data Quality and Governance in Enabling Generative AI and Intelligent Agents
Clean, well-governed data is the critical foundation that empowers Generative AI and intelligent agents to deliver accurate, reliable, and impactful outcomes. This session highlights the pivotal role of data quality and governance in enabling these technologies, with a focus on how modern data management tools—such as Unity Catalog, Palantir Stargate for data lineage, Amazon DataZone, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, and Amazon QuickSight—enhance data discoverability, traceability, and compliance. Attendees will explore how features like data catalogs, lineage tracking, automated stewardship, and anomaly detection create a scalable framework for feeding high-quality data into AI pipelines.

Model Context Protocol (MCP): From Zero to Hero
This session explores the Model Context Protocol (MCP) from basic concepts to practical applications. We’ll start with generative AI fundamentals and quickly move to how MCP enhances AI systems through structured context handling.
We’ll examine MCP’s technical architecture and how it improves conversations with AI by enabling RAG systems and agent workflows. The presentation breaks down MCP’s key components and integration points for developers looking to implement this technology.
The talk concludes with live demonstrations of MCP in action: knowledge retrieval using Amazon Bedrock, Kubernetes troubleshooting automation, and Terraform code generation. Attendees will learn how to leverage MCP to build more capable AI applications across various technical domains.

How to Make AI Agent Development Boring (and Why That’s a Good Thing)
Playing with AI agents is fun - you never know if you’ll get brilliance or complete nonsense. That’s great for hacking, but useless in production. If you want agents that actually work in the real world, boring things suddenly matter: evaluation, monitoring, tracing, and logging.
In this session, Ihar will show how to take a simple agent built with AWS Strands Agents, then layer on traces, evals, and logs. Step by step, he’ll move from chaotic experiments to production-ready systems. By the end, you’ll see how “boring” practices are the secret sauce for building reliable AI applications.

We’ll be taking a few photos during the event – we love sharing the energy and community spirit on our social media.
