AWS Community Day DACH 2026 - We are going to Berlin 🚄

Dear Mannheim crowd,
Once a year the campfires turn into one big bonfire. AWS Community Day DACH is back, and this time the whole DACH community lands in Berlin.

What is actually on the agenda
28 talks made it through from more than 200 submissions, plus four hands-on workshops and three community spaces. Reading through the programme, four themes keep coming back:

🛰 Serverless that has to survive the real world. Not "hello world Lambda". Global scale, trust boundaries, what breaks at 3am. Daniele Frasca's talk "Trust Is the Architecture: Global Serverless at Scale" argues that trust belongs in the architecture rather than being bolted on afterwards.

🧠 AI and ML that left the notebook. AI-driven analytics runs through a large part of the day. Models in production, data pipelines, the boring plumbing nobody blogs about. Danda Ab

🏗 Cloud-native architecture and platform engineering. Deep technical sessions at 300 to 400 level, so bring coffee. LinkedIn

🔐 Security, and everything that keeps auditors calm.
And the thread holding it together: people from the community talking about what they have built, broken and fixed. Scars, not slideware. LinkedIn

📅 What this means for our own calendar

🚫 September: no regular Mannheim session. We are simply meeting in Berlin instead. Look for the people wearing the confused Mannheim expression.
