Topic: Applications of Foundation Models, Responsible AI & Exam Readiness
Our second and final in-person study group. The focus shifts from learning to testing — we'll spend more time on practice questions and exam technique.
What to expect (90 minutes):
• Progress check-in and blocker discussion
• Deep dive: applying foundation models, plus responsible AI, security and governance
• Extended practice question session — reasoning through why answers are right or wrong
• What the pre-exam assessment involves and how to hit the 85% you need for your voucher
• Question collection for the final AWS Q&A in November
How to prepare:
• Aim to be well through your Skill Builder path by now
• Bring the topics you're least confident about
• Laptop recommended

The last live session before exam period. This one is all about exam strategy and last-minute concerns.
Session includes:
• Exam technique: time management and how to read tricky questions
• Live walkthrough of sample questions with an AWS expert explaining the reasoning
• Pearson VUE logistics — scheduling, what to bring, redeeming your voucher
• Answers to your pre-submitted questions, plus open Q&A

What happens next: members who score 85%+ on the pre-exam assessment receive a 50% discount voucher directly from the AWS Training & Certification team in December. All exams must be taken by 30 January 2027 — vouchers cannot be extended.
