About us
This AWS user group network is for engineers, cloud specialists, developers, and business professionals in NE Scotland. We’ll be running quarterly events to share ideas and learn from speakers who use or are from AWS. All speakers will primarily cover technical aspects of AWS services, including best-practice implementation and real-world use cases.
This group is an important resource for those who want to stay up to speed with developments in AWS cloud and related technologies. It’s also a great opportunity to meet your peers! All levels of technical knowledge are welcome, but be prepared to go in-depth!

Build your own AI Game Master using Strands Agents! Once you've got your agent up and running, explore how to extend it into a multi-agent system.🧠 What knowledge is required?
No prior AWS or AI agent experience is required, but you should have:- Basic Python knowledge (variables, functions, and libraries)
- Familiarity with using a terminal or command line
You don't need to be an experienced developer, but this workshop is not designed for complete programming beginners.
💻 What to bring
- A laptop (required) with an IDE and Python version 3.10 or later installed
- A willingness to ask questions to other humans, not just chatbots!
