Easee was established in January 2018 by 3 Norwegian entrepreneurs, and an idea of creating the world’s smartest electric vehicle charger which has now grown into becoming a European leader in the EV charging space in a very short time. Product vision is to create an ecosystem that accelerates the electrification to shape a sustainable future for humanity.
This is a story about 700.000 smart chargers where 450.000 are online, 400% yearly growth, 3,5 GWh daily electricity management and processing of 750 million IoT messages per day from chargers. Easee will talk about success story, how downtime is handled with love, how 100.000+ Easee EVs chargers migrated from legacy to AWS IoT Core while keeping backwards compatibility with legacy backend services and old firmware versions.
