In this session, Craig Williams will share how AWS helps customers around the world easily deploy IoT solutions by collecting and analyzing data using sophisticated techniques such as machine learning, taking preventative measures to secure their fleet of devices, actively monitoring devices, and deploying machine learning models onto devices.

Craig is a Principal Solutions Architect for the Specialist IoT team for Amazon Web Services and is responsible for IoT architecture programs, partner enablement, design & integration support and workshops within his team. He has 27+ years of IT experience with over 11 years focused on cloud technologies. Craig has a Digital Systems Engineering background and ran a software and networking company in South Africa before working in London, Amsterdam, Belgium and now the US doing application development, system administration, networking, disaster recovery design and performance profiling. Craig has done a prodigious amount of architectural and coding implementation work for a variety of clients regarding: Cloud Architecture/Development, CRM, Inventory Management, Ecommerce, Reporting, Billing, Risk Analysis, Banking, Payments Processing, Mobile & WAP, Web Services, database architecture and analysis, hardware infrastructure, IoT design and development and many related IT implementation and execution fields.
