Calling all Women! 👩‍💻🌟

We are super excited to announce the inaugural local chapter of "LeadHer in Cloud" in association with Women Leaders @AWS and AWS User Group Pune! 🤝☁️

"LeadHer in Cloud" is a community-driven initiative aiming to coach and mentor women on leadership, AWS culture, soft skills, and foundational AWS services, supported by AWS Women leaders. 👩‍🏫🚀

This initiative seeks to foster a community of female leaders and evangelize AWS cloud skills. 💪🌐

Here are some interesting facts that highlight why this cause matters at scale: 📊🧐

• India has the highest number of STEM graduates in the world, with an almost 50:50 gender parity rate in STEM (46% women in STEM) 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
• 51% of entry-level recruits are women 🎓✨
• While women make up 34% of the 3.9 million IT workforce, only 25% reach managerial positions, and less than 1% attain C-suite roles 📉🏢
• India has the world’s largest pipeline of women in technology, but there’s a significant drop-off in senior roles 🚦

This program aims to bridge this disparity by focusing on AWS cloud skills, leadership development, and community building. 🛠️🌱
