Speaker Bio: Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, or Raji as she’s fondly called, is a director - product management, at Zoho Corp. In her 20 years journey with the company, she has gained extensive experience ranging from database scaling and network monitoring to application performance tracking and end-user-experience management. She currently leads the application performance monitoring section in Site24x7 - a cloud based all-in-one monitoring product from Zoho Corp.

She has an engineering degree in Computer Science from The College Of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), Chennai. She is a fitness freak. When she is not working, you can spot her running marathons, participating in clean-up drives, and traveling places along with her 3 little ones. 2. Title: Connecting Us With Video - Serverless Tech Talk

Abstract: Serverless is making video exciting. On-demand services are possible because of elastic computing. Event-driven paradigms can be built around Lambda and a large list of video services on the Amazon Cloud. This talk is an introduction to the list. We go over a few architecture patterns. I also mention codecs. Finally, I discuss SDKs. Finding reusable code to put together quickly is a challenge that we now have a solution for. I go over a few examples like Kinesis, Amplify, and Chime’s SDKs and the ones in the software full stack around them. Finally, I’ll share links to CloudFormation templates on GitHub and YouTube links that speed up building solutions.

Speaker Bio: My name is Alex Zumkhawala. My interest areas are serverless computing, new software creation patterns, and adopting machine learning fast. My first serverless apps were for Alexa. Example, the Alexa Smart Home in Virginia. Now I build with AWS Amplify. I have twenty years of experience with software patterns. New patterns like low-code solutions, automation, serverless, and open-source are really fantastic. AWS customers can hire me on-demand on AWS IQ, where I am an expert available for hire. I live in Arlington, Virginia. I think dogs are cool.
