--> Testing Serverless Applications <--
This talk will go into explaining how you can add tests to a serverless application which is built through an interactive, on-demand series on Twitch ‘AWS Dev Hour: Building Modern Applications.’ This series takes you through building a serverless application using several services from AWS (Amazon Web Services) without focusing on testing.

This would be a beginner's talk, meaning I would explain the concepts of testing, how you can test your applications and the challenges of testing serverless applications. After going through the basics, I would continue to talk about the main takeaways, which are:

  • Why should you add tests to your serverless applications?
  • How can you add tests to your serverless applications?
  • What kind of tests should you use?
  • How can you set up CI/CD for your application?

By walking through my process of adding tests and improving the application built in the AWS Dev Hour series these questions will be answered and the different steps and decisions made will be explained on the way. This will give the listeners insight into how they can improve their applications by ensuring that the application has the expected behavior.
Speaker: Lena Kråkevik Haraldseid (Nordic Semiconductor, Junior R&D Engineer)

--> Scalable automation of CICD at Norwegian <--
At Norwegian we do all provisioning and updates via CodePipeline, the console is for ReadOnly operations. During the past years we have implemented a scalable framework making it possible to maintain over 400 CodePipelines cross multiple teams and accounts with very little effort. All the pipelines are also maintained by pipelines so no console access is needed at all. CloudFormation is used for all basic infrastructure cross all accounts. This presentation will go through the services and patterns used to keep things easy, scalable and secure.
Speaker: Anders Bjørnestad (Principal consultant at Webstep and AWS Community Hero)

After the presentations you will have the opportunity to ask questions and hang around for a beer or soft-drink.
