What you don’t measure, you can’t control - building the cloud expenditure awareness is essential to successful cloud cost management. It starts with simple budgeting and alerting, then cost reporting – up to using sophisticated KPIs. Based on my experience, I will share practical tips & tricks, and ideas on how to increase cost awareness and avoid common cost traps. As the AWS cloud community in Poland is more and more mature and as I am very curious about how cloud cost management works in your organizations and projects, we will enhance the session with a short thought exchange, and finish with questions and answers.

Karolina Boboli - Consultant, Cloud Architect, Entrepreneur (LinkedIn)

Karolina Boboli works as a Cloud Consultant and Architect. She has experience in cloud security, cloud governance, cost management, landing zones, serverless, and IoT. As a technical leader and mentor, she builds and guides cloud teams. In 2019, she founded a vibrant cloud community, swiatchmury.pl, a Slack for cloud professionals focused on all clouds, but AWS in particular.

Cloud computing is her second career - she is an entrepreneur and runs her own accounting and tax advisory company. She enjoys oil painting, meditation, and spending time with friends in her free time.
