Bring your laptop and build your own AI agents on AWS - from your very first agent to a whole team of agents that talk to each other.
The workshop takes place at the AWS Office Warsaw and is led by Michał Krzyżanowski, AWS Community Builder.

🐉 THE WORKSHOP: "Once Upon Agentic AI: A Developer's Epic Journey"
Roll for initiative... in Python! A D&D-themed quest through the Strands Agents framework. Chapter by chapter, you'll build a Game Master made of cooperating AI agents.
What you'll build:

• 🧙 Your first agent with Strands
• ⚔️ Tools - vended tools from the SDK and your own custom tools with @tool
• 🌐 MCP - serve a tool over Model Context Protocol and connect an agent to it
• 🏰 A2A - agents talking to each other, backed by a RAG knowledge base
• 🎲 Web UI - play with your Game Master in the browser
• 🛡️ Strands harness - rebuild it all in a few lines

🎒 WHAT TO BRING

• 💻 Your own laptop (charged!)
• 🐍 Basic Python knowledge and a terminal
• 🛠️ Setup instructions (Python, uv, repository) will be sent a few days before the workshop
