"For The People" 2-Day Hackathon
Details
This July, we’re hosting a 2-day hackathon focused how engineers can identify and solve solve a real Namibian problem.
With the theme “For The People,” teams ( up to 4) will be challenged to go beyond just building and create solutions that can really make an impact. Its not just about development, but also how your idea will be used, managed, and maintained.
We’ll have 7 teams in total, so be sure to register early.
How it works:
- Day 1 (10:00 – 16:00): Introductions, event briefing, and team discussions to identify real problems. Each team will present their chosen problem before building begins. If you don’t have a team yet, this is your chance to join or form one.
- Day 2 (10:00 – 13:00): Final building phase.
- Day 2 (13:00 - 16:00): Presentations of your solutions and judging.
Projects will be evaluated based on criteria shared on Day 1. Winning teams will receive medals and be crowned our hackathon winners.
Expect two days of intensity, teamwork, and fun with food and drinks provided.
