About us
AWS User Group Women in AI is a community-led AWS User Group focused on helping women and gender minorities build technical depth in artificial intelligence on AWS.
We create space for builders, learners, engineers, architects, data professionals, founders, students, career changers, and technical leaders to learn, share, and grow together around AWS AI services and architectures.
Our programming focuses on practical AWS AI learning, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Q, Bedrock AgentCore, Strands Agents SDK, AI agents,
RAG, responsible AI, cloud architecture, security, and production implementation patterns.
The group operates hybrid-first. Most events will be virtual so members can participate from anywhere, with select in-person and hybrid events in the Cambridge and Boston area.
You should join if you want to:
- Learn AWS AI services in a supportive technical community
- Build confidence through hands-on workshops and demos
- Prepare for AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner
- Learn from women and gender minorities building with AWS
- Share your own projects, lessons learned, and technical questions
- Grow toward speaking, mentoring, certification, and AWS community leadership
All skill levels are welcome, from beginners exploring AWS AI for the first time to experienced practitioners building production systems.
Events are educational, technical, and inclusive. The group is not used to promote any company's products or services.
