Abstract:
We will explore how we designed and implemented a robust, cost-efficient, and scalable solution for scraping content from newsletters, websites, and social media using cloud-native AWS services. Talk will explain how cloud-native tools can streamline the collection, processing, and analysis of online data while avoiding specific challenges such as handling dynamic and varied content formats, avoiding IP bans, ensuring ethical compliance and managing large-scale data efficiently.
The session will include Q&A and short discussion how AI/ML was applied for data enrichment and analysis.

Domjan Barić is head of Data Science at Aras Digital Products with over 7 years of experience at helping companies utilize data and AI to solve their business problems.
Tomislav Rašeta is a AWS Solutions Architect at Sedmi Odjel with over 15 years of professional experience designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting heterogeneous infrastructure environments.
