About the Workshop?
This introductory technical workshop is designed to provide a hands on experience focused on Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Autoscaling, Simple Storage Service (S3), and Elastic File System (EFS).

By attending this workshop, you will learn how to:

• Launch a virtual server- Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) - that is hosting a static website
• Automatically scale your Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances
• Create a Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket for object storage
• Grant Access between services using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Set up Simple Storage Service (S3) versioning and lifecycle policies
• Design an Elastic File System (EFS) drive and connect it to your Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance

Who Should Attend:
This introductory technical Immersion Day is geared towards Solution or System Architects, IT Professionals, Cloud Administrators, Cloud Support Engineers, Cloud Developers, and Cloud Architects. You will dive into foundational AWS Services. No prior AWS or cloud computing experience is required.

Temporary AWS accounts will be provided for the hands on labs. You will need to bring a laptop in order to participate in the hands-on labs. Guest Wi-Fi will be available.
