Talk 1: AWS Control Tower and Beyond: A Solution Architect's Blueprint for Governance at Scale (Level: 200 - Intermediate)
In 2025, discussing an AWS Multi-Account Strategy might seem trivial.
However, adopting a multi-account strategy is not a given. Many businesses still lack a robust cloud foundation, often resulting in poorly architected, non-compliant, and costly environments that make security, governance, and operational management difficult.
Building a well-architected multi-account environment aligned with security and compliance best practices requires expertise, effort, and the coordination of numerous AWS services.
Fortunately, AWS Control Tower simplifies this process. In less than an hour, it can establish a well-architected multi-account environment, providing a strong foundation.
This talk will demonstrate the immense value of AWS Control Tower from a Solution Architect's perspective. Attendees will learn how to refine and customize the environment it creates to achieve governance, cost management, and security at scale.

Talk 2: A beginner's journey into Cloud and AWS (Level: 100 - Foundational)
Why You Should Learn Cloud Computing and How to Get Started with AWS
Cloud computing is inevitable. It's everywhere, even if we don't always notice it - but we should. Research shows that 94% of all companies worldwide use cloud computing at some level, and this number continues to grow. So, whether you're looking to launch a career in cloud technology or expand your skills, you're on the right track. While the many paths to the Cloud could look overwhelming, they don't have to be. Let's explore where you can start to be part of this inevitable future. Take a seat, fasten your seat belt, and let's fly to the Cloud.

Speaker: Suzana Melo - Software Developer | AWS Community Builder
