Topic: AWS Amplify Gen 2 in Joy
AWS calls Amplify “everything you need to build web and mobile apps. Easy to start, easy to scale.” But what does that really look like in practice? In this session, we’ll take you behind the scenes of a real-world production app built with Amplify Gen, including the code and discuss some 'must-know' risks and pitfalls.

Our speaker this month:
Alex Taler, DevOps Consultant and AWS Enthusiast
Alex started writing code at the tender age of 10, and hasn't stopped yet. He's piled on plenty of other experience working in many small and startup companies. His journey with AWS began in 2007, utilising a wide range of services in different projects.

Due to security protocols at AWS’s office, you must complete this FORM at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event. It is compulsory to complete this form for all attendees to gain access into the venue. You will need to provide photo ID to building security upon arrival.

Directions for Entry:
Entry to the PWC building is by the main entrance on Customs Street.
Go up the escalators and you will see the Spectra cafe and PWC reception on the right. Walk through the lobby behind you and turn right towards the elevators. Take the lift to level 13.
Nearby parking is next door at Downtown Carpark.
