No Infra, No Backup Agent: Embedding Resilience into Your Pipeline
Resilience only counts when it has been proven and tested. This session shows how to put resilience into your CI/CD pipeline: protection defined as code, deployed through the pipeline, and enforced on every merge, using Clumio by Commvault with a single IAM role and no backup infrastructure to run. We will also explore how the recovery itself can be automated, with AI agents (Kiro, Claude) driving the restore and verifying the result.

All You Need is a Bus
Event buses aren't the most exciting component in your stack, nor should they be. They're the boring bit that makes sure your messages get to their destination. Amazon's recently released EventBridge Custom Event Bus has created some excitement.

AI has changed how organisations handle data. In the past having each application silo their events made sense. Most of the events were handled locally, with some sent to other services. Today, AI agents need to listen to events from across the organisation. Buses everywhere don't cut it any more. Discoverability was always difficult. Cross team collaboration to configure rules and permissions became tedious. Events were limited to JSON. The list goes on.

Amazon's new Custom Event Bus solves all of these problems and more. It is a total rethink of how an event bus functions in your AWS environment.

In this session Dave will walk you through the key features of the new bus, how to deploy it into your environment and how it impacts your current architectures.
