Hamburg AWS User Group 2019/08
Details
Dear AWS'lers,
After our short summer break we are happy to announce our August edition of the AWS UserGroup Hamburg. This time we are happy to be invited to meet at Edeka and Anton Grübel will provide us a talk about experiences with AWS Serverless Application Repository.
Our second speaker is Marc Schröter. Marc is the founder and CEO at globaldatanet and will talk about how to get started with AWS Amplify. As always there will also be plenty of room for general knowledge exchange, socializing and networking.
Agenda:
19:00 Welcome
19:15 Talk 1) Anton Grübel (EDEKA ZENTRALE AG & Co. KG) :
"AWS Serverless Application Repository (SAR) -
Easily find, publish and deploy serverless applications. Either share them privately within your organization or make them publicly available for everyone. Build and deploy them by using the AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM). Besides giving a brief introduction on AWS SAR, we will show you how to develop, test and distribute an AWS CloudFormation Custom Resource over multiple accounts."
~20:00 Break for discussions and networking
20:15 Talk 2) Marc Schröter (globaldatanet) :
"Getting started with AWS Amplify -
How to develop and deploy cloud-powered web apps with AWS Amplify. AWS Amplify is a combination of a client library, CLI toolchain, and a Console for continuous deployment and hosting. The Amplify CLI and library allow developers to get up & running with full-stack cloud-powered applications with features like authentication, storage, serverless GraphQL or REST APIs, analytics, Lambda functions, & more. The Amplify Console provides continuous deployment and hosting for modern web apps."
