Architecting Active Directory: From On-Prem to Multi-Cloud & Beyond by Patrik Scherthan
The complexity of Active Directory (AD) setups has evolved from simple on-premises solutions to complex, hybrid environments due to the increasing adoption of multi-cloud strategies and the integration of SaaS applications. This talk will present various approaches to setting up AD environments and examine their respective advantages and disadvantages to highlight the challenges and solutions for secure and efficient identity management structures in modern, distributed IT environments.
AWS meets Bluesky by Sebastian Korfmann
Bluesky is a social network designed for scale and cross-organizational operation โ most notably, it's fully open-source, and all its data is public. As of early 2025, it has over 31 million users who have created 1 billion posts and generate 750 social interactions per second.
In this session, weโll look into how to ingest that data into AWS, and how to use it for analytical purposes without breaking the bank.
