A Note from NISHADI and LUNARA
Hi, I’m Nishadi, an Ayurveda practitioner from Sri Lanka, now based in Copenhagen.
Ayurveda has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. In my childhood, it wasn’t a subject in a book; it was in the way my family lived. Rising with the sun, cooking with fresh herbs from the garden, and caring for the body as a sacred gift.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and working with clients for over a decade, I’ve seen how these simple, time-honoured practices can transform daily life, bringing clarity, balance, and a deep sense of connection.
For me, a Daily ritual isn’t just a habit. It’s an act of love towards yourself, a way to tune into your body’s needs, quiet the mind, and carry a sense of calm into your day.

Hi, I’m Lunara, a certified yoga teacher from India and the voice behind Gyan movement.
Yoga found me back in 2016, when my lifestyle had become too much sitting and overthinking. A friend suggested, “Try yoga.” I did and never really stopped. From early mornings in Almaty to trying different sports in 5 other countries and then sunrise practices in India, yoga slowly became less about stretching my body and more about stretching my life.
It taught me discipline (yes, even 6 a.m. classes), patience (results only come with practice), and that listening to your body is sometimes louder than listening to your thoughts.
Through Gyan, my newsletter and movement for women who want to lead conscious, balanced, and sustainable lives, I share yoga, mindfulness, and simple practices that make space for more ease and connection.
Yoga, for me, isn’t about perfection. It’s about union: body, mind, and spirit finding each other again and again, one breath at a time.
See you on the mat 😊 Maybe with a smile, maybe with messy hair, but always with presence.
