This is a popular iconic Arizona hike. We are hiking up the Peralta trail to the saddle then over to the view point to see Weavers Needle. The hike is up hill all the way with an immediate 1340 ft gain. If you have injuries you may want to sit this one out. This is a perfect hike for cooler weather so if you always wanted to see Weaver Needle close up you may enjoy this hike.

Time: 9am
Hike:
Start point: Peralta Trail
Moderate /steep
Approx 6- 8miles out and back. 1340 Elevation gain, striaght up to the saddle.
What to expect:
Parking, Pit toilets, No water at this location.

8:15am Home Depot 6838 E Superstition Springs Blvd, Mesa, meet at the corner of the lot near Buger King...need volunteers

AZ-HOA Guidance:
1. If you cannot attend an event, please remove your name from the attendance list. Organizers are volunteers and appreciate the courtesy. To many no-shows could affect your membership.
2. Show up early – we hike roughly 5 mins past the scheduled hike time
3. Bring twice the water than you normally drink. Having to much water is a convenance, not an emergency.
4. Joining hiking events has risk such as injury, heat exhaustion among other serious or fatal risk. Please be aware AZHOA is not responsible for any injury, sickness or accident of any kind that could occur. We are volunteers and not outdoor professionals. If you attend you agree to take full responsibility for all risk.
5. Introduce yourself at the trailhead and have fun!
