The AZ. Solar Center Meet-Up Group is the dedicated extension of the AZ Solar Center and offers educational programs and information for homeowners and industry professionals .

About the AZ Solar Center:

The AZ Solar Center ( http://www.azsolarcenter.org ) is an Arizona non-profit collaborative that provides education and information to a diverse group of Arizonans, from the general public with an interest in solar, renewable energy and sustainability, to the professional and business community
The AZ Solar center offers public lectures series, solar home tours, open houses, site visits , and solar training for solar tradespeople.
The AZ Solar Center is one of the most respected and trusted solar and RE organizations in Arizona. It is a non-profit, non-partisan collaborative of solar and sustainability organization whose mission is to promote and implement the use and applications of solar and renewable energy, and sustainability in Arizona.
The AZ Solar Center Board of Directors includes representation from many sectors of the solar and sustainable community and businesses, including Arizona State Government, major universities, utilities, AriSEIA (the Arizona chapter of the Solar Energy Industry Association) , ASEA (the Arizona Solar Energy Association - State Chapter of the American Solar Energy Society- ASES), and other members of the the Arizona solar, RE and sustainability business communit y.

Our mission: Expand the knowledge and interest in renewable energy, greenbuilding, and sustainability in Arizona
The AZ Solar Center Meet-Up Group is not a membership organization and requires no payment to be a participant in the online meetup group, or to attend events
Meeting topics include Renewable Energy, Green Home design, Solar Energy, Green Building, Bio-diesel and other alternate transportation fuels, Sustainable Energy, and Solar Home Design.
