About Lightning Network 101 (LN 101)
This presentation will be geared towards those familiar with Bitcoin and want to begin understanding what Bitcoin's Lightning Network is, why we need it, and how it works at a high-level.

For those new to the space, we will briefly cover why we build on bitcoin in particular.
About VFW Post 720 (Venue)
The venue will be the VFW Post 720, meaning, all proceeds for venue go to directly support veterans and a nonprofit.

About Santos
Santos has been learning about bitcoin for many years now. He has a background in FinTech, working previously at American Express on their Credit Risk and Payments & Products team: Global Data Repository (GDR), Bank of America, where he wrote the retention playbook used by 13 sites & over 1300 associates and achieved #1 in the nation in sales for credit and deposit products.

He is entirely self-educated, dropping out of school when he was 14. He has built many cool Bitcoin Lightning Network apps such as Payment Splitting, emeralize (an e-learning platform), Automatic Withdrawals to LN Address, and much more.

He is the Business Lead of Tech & Product at a gaming Fintech, ZEBEDEE, that uses Bitcoin's Lightning Network to issue rewards to gamers and powers money in games. His role is a product leader, designer, & strategist.
