What we’re about
This is a hands-on class. There will be a classroom session followed by putting theory into practice--actually paddling a kayak on the water. This course is designed to 1) equip paddlers with basic skills to get from point A to point B successfully, 2) explain the legal responsibilities that come with getting on the water, and 3) understand what to do in emergency situations. And leave your paddle at home; AZGFD provides all of the paddle equipment including life jackets.
