Information
Let's do a fun run through a short Sedona canyon this weekend. When you sign up you will be added to the waitlist. Priority will be given to my previous students. Must have your own gear and prior canyon experience. This is NOT a guided trip.

A fun, short canyon off the 1st bench of Bear Mountain. Arguably the biggest bang for your buck in the Bear Mountain circuit, this route offers a mild yet scenic approach straight to the goods, ending with a beautiful free-hanging rappel.

Start at Bear Mountain trailhead. Cross the street and work your way to the first bench. After approaching the first bench, take the faint social trail right (east), traversing past large alcoves and landing in the slick rock halfpipe.

R1: 25' from a bolted anchor LDC. ***Note*** Bolt at R1 has been cut by some rogue asshat with an angle grinder. Plan to rig off the tree set far back from the edge.
R2: 30' from a bolted anchor LDC.
R3: 95' from a bolted anchor station LDC to the very bottom. (2-stages). Set rope RDC to avoid cactus on first ledge.
R4: 170' off tree RDC. 130' to first ledge.
