discover.swiss - a open api platform for tourism on Azure

Christian Eggenberger will talk about discover.swiss, a cloud native, scalable, secure, open and future oriented api platform based on Azure PaaS services to boost the digitalization of the swiss tourism industry.

We will look at the architecture of the discover.swiss api and Christian will share his experience in working with PaaS services in a real world, highly dynamic project and get a feel about how Azure Services can support us in delivering high quality with low budget in fairly short time and where we experienced limits.

Christian is an Azure and .net practitioner since their first days. For over 20 years he is implementing and developing customers visions in various business fields. With his background in Mathematics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Carpentry, Tourism and Adventure he always aims for simple solutions which work. Currently he is leading the development of the discover.swiss platform.
