Did you ever try to join an open-source project and quit because you where not able to get the development environment running?

What is the most time consuming when joining a new team? Setting up the development environment is one of the topics I see the most.

Documentation that is not maintained. Versions that are different. Laptops that do not perform as hoped when running builds. Joining a new team puts a lot of stress and frustration to developers.

In this presentation Daniel is going to show you a new way to solve these issues by using the new technologies available today. A combination of cloud based compute and ready to go development containers.

Daniel is a serial conference organiser and meetup runner. As a principal consultant at Bryte Blue, a Microsoft Azure focussed, consultancy company and a Microsoft Azure MVP. He is helping companies succeed with Cloud Native technologies and DevOps practices.
