7:30 pm - Welcome and House Keeping (Nicholas Chang & Kevin Greene )

Leo Visser Cloud Consultant @ OGD**

Currently I work as a Cloud Consultant for “OGD ict-diensten” (Netherlands) where I consult different companies about making better use of cloud techniques and transforming their application to the cloud. Before that I worked as a (lead) SysOps engineer for a couple of years. During this time I focused a lot on automating work to free up resources and optimize the work to make sure the customers could be served with a small team of dedicated people. I also write on my blog https://www.autosysops.com where I share insights I have gathered during my IT career.

Session - Spot azure network problems by visualizing it

Do you have workloads in the cloud which are available from the internet or can communicate with the internet? Probably you do! Are you sure these workloads are only communicating with the resources you want them to? During this talk I will provide you with some tips and tricks from the field on how to protect your Azure workloads with the help of different Azure networking services. But keep the zero trust principles in mind - just protecting isn’t enough. Therefore I will also look at flow logs and traffic analytics to provide you with a visualization of your network. By using these and other tools from the Azure network watcher we will spot some common misconfigurations in a demo environment. Do you want to know how to keep more control over your Azure network or just want to know how to spot some common problems? Join this talk and find out!

He founded several User Groups around Europe and he is a regular speaker at meetups and conferences.

Session: Easy feature flags with Azure App Configuration - I am sure you hear it all the time - Continuous Deployment to production, silent releases, etc. However, you never managed to do it, and you don't want to get onto yet another tool. How about an Azure native product? Let's look at Azure App Configuration and how it can help you deploy that first Feature Flag!

8:45 pm - Approximate Close!
