Azure Stream Analytics (ASA) is the native near-real time processing service in Azure, since 2014.
When you’re reading streams of data from Event Hub or IoT Hub, to build an alerting system, feed a real-time dashboard, or just ingest your streaming data into a database, then ASA is the service for you.
The neat part about ASA is that you only need a few lines of SQL to define the logic of your pipeline. Well, that’s neat if you actually like SQL. Sometimes you just want your data to land in your favorite database (Cosmos DB), and not deal with the intricacies of yet another integration service. That’s what we intend to solve with the new no code experience of Azure Stream Analytics. In this session we’ll see how to build streaming pipeline with Cosmos DB and Azure Stream Analytics, with or without code!
