In this session, learn how to minimize down time and maximize recovery using risk analysis and cloud tools to meet Recovery Time and Recovery Point Objectives (RTO/RPO). Azure offers a broad set of tools through Availability Zones, Regions, Monitoring, and more to help keep your uptime up. We will provide an overview of Azure's disaster recovery and prevention toolkit as well as briefly discuss cloud alternatives to Azure in the same space.

**Julie Wilson:**
Julie has been working with Improving for over 6 years managing operational tasks, such as code and patch releases to clients and maintaining hosted Azure environments including over 40 virtual machines. Julie is the Security Practice lead at Improving Atlanta and provides key direction for SOC compliance standards required by several high-impact clients, as well as participating in security assessments for potential new clients to Improving.
 
**Andy Carmichael:**
Andy Carmichael is an experienced hands-on IT professional, proficient in IT management, IT systems, on premise and cloud-based technologies. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Azure for Government, Azure IaaS, Office 365, Microsoft Server and desktop software, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory, IIS Server and Office system components including MS Office 365 management.
