Azure at Vipps (Bergen)

Siden starten av Vipps har vi brukt Microsoft Azure som vår prefererte sky plattform. Vi har gjort mye riktig, men også lært utrolig mye igjennom årene. Under denne gratis Azure samlingen vil personer fra Vipps dele sin historie for hele Norge slik at flere kan dra nytte av lærdommen. I samarbeid med Bergen Microsoft community inviterer vi alle til Nøstegaten 58. Vi sørger for at det blir nok tid for spørsmål og diskusjoner!

In Vipps we develop products and services at an high paste. In this session we give a quick introduction on how we build our culture, how we are organized and what challenges we've had so far.

Azure Infrastructure in Vipps
The infrastructure and tools have also changed over time. In this session we give an overview over the tools and services we are using to deploy our apps and infrastructure and how we try to improve our developers experience along the way.

Stretching for Zero Downtime Upgrades with Azure Kubernetes Service
In this session, we will walk you through the design decisions of our Azure infrastructure during the last years. We will start by discussing the flaws and challenges of our early architecture before we introduce our current setup of immutable infrastructure and why we are still not happy. Finally, you will learn why and how we favor multi-cluster architecture in Azure.

Securing identities with Azure AD and Endpoint Manager
Our people need a secure (and working) device to work on. In this session we will go through how we ensure a safe and secure environment by utilizing Azure AD, Endpoint Manager and Windows 365. Learn how we try to balance security and flexibility for our users.
