Digital Twins Definition Language - A language for IoT plug and play!
Details
๐ข This is an IN-PERSON event ๐ข
IoT Plug and Play is a feature that enables solutions builders such as mobile and web application developers to integrate IoT devices with little or no custom coding. With IoT Plug and Play, devices can advertise their capabilities using a common language called Digital Twins Definition Language (DTDL). DTDL is a language for describing digital twin models of smart devices, assets, spaces, and environments. DTDL enables interoperability between different devices and solutions by providing a shared understanding of the device's properties, commands, telemetry, relationships, and components.
In this talk, Chandra will cover:
- An introduction to IoT Plug and Play and its architectures
- How to model devices using DTDL V2/V3
- How to author DTDL models using various tools and SDKs
- How to validate and publish DTDL models using Model Repository
- A demo of a generic web UI that can interact with any IoT Plug and Play device based on its DTDL model
We will be recording the session and publishing it on our YouTube channel.
