Stop coding with Copilot. Start working with it.
Details
We've all been sold GitHub Copilot as a coding assistant. But for those of us who spend our days in meetings, emails, customer engagements and the occasional architecture diagram, that framing leaves most of the value on the table.
In this talk we walk through a normal week as a Cloud Solutions Architect, where GitHub Copilot CLI is the second brain that scaffolds issues, captures work, generates the infra, drafts documentation and produces the reports that feed timesheets.
You'll leave with an open-source template repo - ToDone - to start your own second brain on Wednesday morning.
#### Additional notes
- Level: L200. Assumes audience knows what GitHub Copilot is; no prior CLI experience required.
- Live demo: Github Project boards, use-case walkthrough and reusable skill and tool creation.
- Audience takeaway: Repo with skills for issue scaffolding,
daily reports, weekly reports and weekly planning.
- A/V needs: HDMI, audio out (no demo audio but want it available), ability to project terminal at readable font size. Will bring own laptop.
