Azure Container Apps - Presented by Kendall Roden

Welcome Azure NYC Meetup friends. After a bit of a hiatus, we are reviving this Meetup with regular sessions on the latest Azure developer related topics. I am Sujit D'Mello, your new organizer taking over the reins from Jesus Aguilar who most of you have met. He continues to assist as co-organizer but is now deeply involved with another assignment at Microsoft.

While we hope to get back to in-person Meetups very soon, we would like to get the ball rolling with a special virtual Meetup on one of the latest and hottest Azure services, Azure Container Apps. And to do that, we have none other than Kendall Roden, a Senior PM in the Azure Product team.

Kendall began her journey at Microsoft in July 2016 through the Microsoft Academy of College Hires. For the past two years, Kendall has worked on the Cloud Native Global Black Belt team, helping large enterprise customers architect cloud native solutions involving various Microsoft Azure technologies with a focus on Kubernetes and Open Source. As of December 2021, Kendall is a Senior Product Manager for Azure Container Apps. Outside of her core business responsibilities, she is a co-host on The Azure Podcast. Kendall is passionate about community building, continuous learning, and public speaking, as you will learn from the session.

I know for a fact that Kendall is an amazing speaker so you don't want to miss this event. We look forward to getting re-acquainted and also learning how this new service from Azure can make your life as a Software Engineer who loves Containers and Kubernetes, so much easier.
