Introduction to Azure Subscriptions with Patrick Curran

When you join a new user group, there are certain levels of expectation, and some levels of interpretation as to how things are going to work.

The same holds true when you stand up your first Azure Subscription. In this session, we are going to look at getting started with Azure. We will look at common mistakes made when getting started and have discussions around the User Community around their experiences.

We will also talk about Azure Architecture choices and solutions. For those interested in a bit more of a “deep dive”, we will conclude our talk with an Azure SaaS, IaaS and PaaS discussion, and how to deploy resources through ARM templates and/or PowerShell.

There will be a demonstration on deploying resources through PowerShell and ARM Templates.
