Play Levels:

C: Newer player. Can only bump the ball upward, limited control of direction; trouble with serving and hitting.

B-: Player with some experience and general ball control. Can bump and set with general directional intent, but not super consistent. May be newer to rotations and plays.

B+: consistent reliable player in most of the skills, and can contribute to rallying plays.

BB: Has decent hands, can set with fair accuracy, and run basic plays. Strong serve receive and consistent serving, aggressive hit on a well set ball, with ability to block or receive strong attacks.

A: Can jump set confidently, and swing consistently with seasoned game knowledge. Overall very controlled, experienced player.

AA/+ : Consistently accurate sets in all situations, can disguise sets, run quick tempo, and adapt to imperfect passes, plus make strategic placements or swing down on the ball aggressively. Top level player that may have played in college or competitive club teams.
