Bayard Cutting Arboretum
Details
The Bayard Cutting Arboretum has a path that runs along the river called "River Walk" and it leads into the woods and onto some small islands. This is a mostly flat paved and unpaved surface.
The walk through Bayard Cutting Arboretum will start in the parking area (not the gazebo) at 2pm. I’ll be there at 1:45 to greet attending members. Always check your emails before leaving your house especially when rain is in the forecast. See you there.---Lee
Directions from Nassau (& Queens)> Southern State Pkwy eventually forks off (stay to the right) and becomes Heckscher State Pkwy. Get off at exit 45E Montauk Hwy. Go a short way and Arboretum is on the right.
