Sweetbriar (Exploratory) Walk/Hike

This is a minimum attendance event (7).
On Sunday afternoon we’ll be trekking through the nature preserve known as Sweetbriar Nature Center located in Smithtown. It's been about a year since we last walked this preserve so hopefully I can still remember the correct route to use, so I consider it "exploratory". The paths that meander through the woods here are hilly in spots and rooted. The path through the woods isn't that long but I'll try and stretch it to 3 miles, Sweetbriar also has some interesting animal rescue exhibits and tours of the area are available. Parking is somewhat limited so our attendance for this event will also be limited. I'll be in the park at 1:15 PM. Walk starts at 1:30.---Lee
Directions> use GPS address 62 Eckernkamp Dr. …. Or Any major highway to Sunken Meadow Pkwy. north to Jericho Tpke east. Make left on Edgewood Ave. Another left on Landing Ave. One more left on Eckernkamp Dr. Look for small driveway entrance.
