Bayard Cutting Arboretum
Details
The Bayard Cutting Arboretum has a path that runs along the river called "River Walk" and it leads into the woods and onto some small islands. This is a mostly flat paved and unpaved surface.
The walk through Bayard Cutting Arboretum will start at the VISITORS CENTER next to the parking area at 1:30pm. I’ll be there at 1:15 to greet attending members. Always check your emails before leaving your house especially when rain is in the forecast. See you there.---Lee
Directions from Nassau (& Queens)> Southern State Pkwy eventually forks off (stay to the right) and becomes Heckscher State Pkwy. Get off at exit 45E Montauk Hwy. Go a short way and Arboretum is on the right.
