Details

Come and learn how to create a low maintenance high production Mediterranean semi-arid vegetable garden in harmony with natural design.

Are you tired of home gardens which are too much work to maintain, want to be a part of the climate restoration of the Iberian Peninsula or are you interested in studying regenerative leadership for your working life or to guide your own business.

This workshop is just for you!

Using the design methods of Syntropic Agriculture and Permaculture, along with many other seminal conservationists, we are going to be starting a new design for a small urban garden in the picturesque village of Malveira da Serra, nestled in the foothills of the Serra da Sintra national park.

What you will learn:
- The basics of biomimicry and sustainable design strategy and application.
- What does it mean to harmonise with natural design and why does it matter.
- What is Syntropic Agriculture and Permaculture.
- The basics of Mediterranean forest gardening.
- How to design and choose your own selection of plants.

What you will need:
- Some light clothes to stay cool working outside.
- A notebook.

Come and join us on monday morning, with a tea, as we dive into this mini summer course.

See you in class!
