Things recommended to do on Friday:
- Reading Surah Al-Kahf (anytime from sunset on Thursday till sunset on Friday)
- Sending a lot of blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
- Making Dua

Things recommended to do for Friday Prayers:
- Cutting nails
- Taking a bath (Ghusl)
- Wearing clean clothes, doing miswaak (brushing teeth), and applying athar (non-alcoholic scent)
- Going to the mosque early (before the khutbah begins)
