KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure First Overseas Hands-on Seminar (July 17th)

WordCamp NYC 2016 will be held at the United Nations on 7/16 and 7/17. Japanese cloud integrator Prime Strategy will be presenting our Ultrafast WordPress Virtual Machine KUSANAGI as a silver sponsor.

At our sponsor booth, for the first time overseas we will be having our favorably-received free hands-on seminar, "How to speed up WordPress sites", which over 500 people in Japan have already attended.

We will be helding 1 session at 7/16 (https://www.meetup.com/ja-JP/New-York-Enterprise-WordPress-speeding-up-and-security/events/231834120/?eventId=231834120) and one more session at 7/17, where attendees will create a LAMP environment and a KUSANAGI environment to compare the speeds. There will also be a Q&A session for questions about KUSANAGI or speeding up WordPress in general.

About the hands-on:

KUSANAGI is a free virtual machine image available on most major public clouds, and it is the world's fastest WordPress execution environment. The machine uses optimized PHP and MySQL tuning to provide immediate results upon installation.

In this seminar, we will walk you through the steps of launching KUSANAGI on Microsoft Azure and setting up a high speed WordPress server. The hands-on is designed to be completed even by someone who has never touched a server before. You will need: 1. a laptop with either Windows or Mac OS

2. a wi-fi router or tethering-enabled smartphone/tablet

3. SSH terminal software (such as Poderosa)

4. Microsoft Azure subscription (new accounts have 1-month free)
