Hear ye! Hear ye! It's that time of year when we bask in the sun's burning hot rays and swelter in the oppresive heat as we check out the VA ren faire! The 23rd season of the Virginia Renaissance Faire goes from May 10 - June 8. This meetup is for checking it out on Saturday May 17.
The Faire will be held at Lake Anna Winery, 5621 Courthouse Rd, Spotsylvania, VA. Depending on where you live in Hampton Roads, it's about 2 to 3 hours away.
For adults, admission is $18. You have to buy tickets online ahead of time.
The Faire goes fron 10am - 5pm. For this meetup, we'll meet at the Faire at 12:44 am and go galavanting around. We'll meet at the ren faire gift shop near the entrance where you first walk into the park. I'll post a description of where I'm at when I get there. Feel free to use the comments/chat to organize carpooling amongst yourselves if you're interested.
